Rumor: Sony to certify new HTC phones as PlayStation devices

As someone who has always enjoyed playing games on my phone, and who has always been a fan of HTC phones this is exciting news.  There is a rumor going around that Sony will be licensing the PlayStation suite of games to HTC devices in 2012.  

What this boils down to is that some future HTC phone(s) will be able to play old PlayStation games.  Sadly for gamers this most likely does not mean that HTC will be producing phones with built in game controllers like the Xperia Play.  While it is exciting to think about playing classic Playstation games on more devices, playing them on a touch screen slightly spoils the fun for me.
