How we review devices

In the evolution of the website I think it's time to update how I review products.  I no longer think it's enough to just give a flat impression of a phone or tablet.  It's not fair to anyone if every phone is compared against everything that has come before it, no matter what market it is targeting.  My solution is to review products based on what niche they are trying to fill.  Not every phone is trying to be the biggest and baddest on the market, many phones have a target audience and aren't meant for consumers on the bleeding edge.

Going forward the reviews on Gadginator will be based on how well the device matches up with it's target audience.  This will allow the site to review a wider range of products and not punish companies for making a niche device.  I have a backlog of reviews I have been working on, that will be coming out shortly that use this new format, and I would love to hear feedback!
