Google I/O 2012 officially sells out in under 30 minutes

Tickets for this year's Google I/O developer conference officially went on sale this morning at 7am.  At 7:06am I attempted to buy my ticket, when I selected my ticket I was greated with a loading page saying they were searcing for available tickets.  After having this page displayed on my phone for 24 minutes I check on my computer, and it says it's sold out.  So much for early bird gets the worm, I'm assuming someone found a way to game the system and buy these in bulk.

There are already Google I/O tickets for sale on Ebay for $4,000, which is 4x the face value.
